How does GPS tracking work without internet connectivity?

GPS devices can receive location data from satellites without internet, but they store this data locally in their internal memory when cellular data connection is unavailable. The data cannot transmit to the fleet management software platform in real-time and only becomes visible after the device reconnects and uploads its stored logs.
