What
Most current GPS trackers will technically receive a BeiDou signal but won't process it correctly. Standard GNSS chipsets in Western fleet devices are configured for GPS, Galileo, or GLONASS. They'll attempt to translate the BeiDou signal, which introduces 2-8 seconds of latency and positional drift that cripples real-time tracking and accurate logging. While they may 'work' technically, they won't function in any useful operational way.
